Thank you Pennington and BzzAgent for providing me with FREE product to facilitate this review and discount coupons to distribute. Opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.
Thanks to Pennington and BzzAgent, I was sent a Free Bzz Kit with a Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System to test and review on my yard and garden plants.
The kit I received came with a sprayer, refills, an instruction guide, and coupons for me to pass out to friends and family. There were two types of fertilizer in the box including an All Purpose, and a Flowers & Blooms. Since I had planted tomatoes and other various vegetables this season, the timing was perfect to get this fertilizer.
For me, the delivery of this fertilizer to my plants was very easy. I just put the sprayer onto the hose, which was already filled with the fertilizer tablets, and turned it on. The fertilizer dissolved into a liquid and was dispersed rather quickly onto my plants. When the fertilizer was out, I popped open the sprayer and added in additional refill tablets. I then started the process all over again. I really like this system because it distributes the fertilizer fast, and since I am a busy mom of 3, I need to be able to get my gardening completed in an efficient manner.
FYI, It is important to read the labels because they do have different ingredients, and may be tailored to a specific type of plant. I found this out as I was reading the packaging.
I used the Flowers & Blooms fertilizer on the periwinkle plant (vinca) above. The plant was fuller after 8 days, the leaves were bigger, and in general it was healthier looking. I feel confident that the fertilizer helped this plant.
I used the All Purpose fertilizer on my Tomatoes. After 8 days and plenty of rain, the plant was falling over. The plants had larger fruit, some of it was ripe, and I had to add an additional stake to keep it up. I think the fertilizer helped these plants versus having no fertilizer at all.
